A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Senior Counsel to join its Trial & Defense litigation practice in Boston. The role centers on insurance-backed general liability and defense work, managing matters from the initial responsive pleading through trial or mediation.

The position carries meaningful autonomy: you will run a substantial caseload, take and defend depositions, appear at court hearings and mediations, and actively develop case strategies while investigating claims. You will also report directly to insurance carrier clients and insureds, and supervise associates and paralegals.

7+ years of litigation experience, with a J.D. from 2019 or earlier
Admitted to practice in Massachusetts, plus at least one (preferably more) of Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, or New Hampshire
Demonstrated experience taking and defending depositions
Exceptional legal writing, research, and communication skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring abilities, with the capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Excellent academic credentials
