Senior Associate / Special Counsel, Commercial Litigation — Brisbane

An established commercial litigation team in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join a collegial group advising on a broad range of commercial disputes. The role offers exposure to contractual disputes, Corporations Act matters, property and planning disputes, defamation, and personal and corporate insolvency work across State and Federal Courts.

This is a client-facing role with responsibility for matters at all stages, regular court appearances and opportunities for secondments. The position provides a clear path to greater seniority and scope to build a personal practice within a supportive, flexible team environment.

• 6–10+ years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation and/or insolvency
• Demonstrable experience managing matters autonomously and appearing in court
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong academic credentials
• Commercially minded with a track record or ambition for client development and practice growth
