Senior transactional lawyer to join a national Energy, Resources & Infrastructure team based in Brisbane. The role involves advising on projects across the energy transition, traditional oil & gas and LNG, power generation and transmission, resources-related infrastructure (ports, rail), water projects and major government infrastructure matters.

You will work with a market-facing transactional team on complex, high-profile deals and projects across all stages of a project lifecycle. The role offers exposure to renewables, storage and carbon abatement matters as well as conventional energy and infrastructure transactions.

This is a hands-on role combining substantive deal work, team support and contribution to practice development and business development activities.

  • Strong drafting and technical skills (agreements, deeds, due diligence reports and advisory work).
  • Excellent analytical, communication and commercial judgement, with a client-service focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team resource allocation.
  • Enthusiasm for business development and stakeholder relationship management.
  • Right to work in Australia (candidates must hold appropriate visas/approvals if not citizens or permanent residents).
