Senior transactional lawyer to join a national Energy, Resources & Infrastructure team based in Brisbane. The role involves advising on projects across the energy transition, traditional oil & gas and LNG, power generation and transmission, resources-related infrastructure (ports, rail), water projects and major government infrastructure matters.

You will work with a market-facing transactional team on complex, high-profile deals and projects across all stages of a project lifecycle. The role offers exposure to renewables, storage and carbon abatement matters as well as conventional energy and infrastructure transactions.

This is a hands-on role combining substantive deal work, team support and contribution to practice development and business development activities.

Proven corporate and private M&A experience gained in a law firm, in-house team or leading boutique; experience in energy, resources or infrastructure matters preferred.
Strong drafting and technical skills (agreements, deeds, due diligence reports and advisory work).
Excellent analytical, communication and commercial judgement, with a client-service focus.
Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team resource allocation.
Enthusiasm for business development and stakeholder relationship management.
Right to work in Australia (candidates must hold appropriate visas/approvals if not citizens or permanent residents).
