Senior Corporate & Private Equity Associate — New York

Top-tier U.S. law firm is seeking a Senior Corporate & Private Equity Associate to join a busy private equity transactions team in New York. The group advises financial sponsors and portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle, including buyouts, acquisitions, and related financings.

The role offers substantive deal responsibility on PE-backed M&A and sponsor-side matters, exposure to healthcare and independent sponsor work, and opportunities to work with a broad network of investors and industry contacts. The team emphasizes proactive, business-minded counseling and visible client-facing experience.

• 5–7 years' private equity / acquisitions experience (PQE)
• Solid corporate/M&A transaction background (deal execution, purchase agreements, negotiations)
• Experience with sponsor-side and portfolio company work, including financings
• Strong drafting, client communication and project management skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team and manage multi-party transactions
