Senior Counsel, Trial & Defense — Seattle

Senior litigation counsel opportunity in a busy defense and insurance-liability practice based in Seattle. The role focuses on defending matters including insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, UIM defense, premises liability, trucking/transportation claims, and related employment and property disputes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing case strategy, taking depositions, preparing pleadings, motions and discovery, conducting legal research, advising insureds and carriers, and preparing for and participating in mediations and trials.

• Admission to practice in Washington State
• 10+ years of civil litigation experience
• Demonstrated experience with insurance-defense matters (coverage, bad faith, catastrophic injury, transportation)
• Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and case-management skills
