Senior Planning Lawyer — Real Estate, Edinburgh

An established national firm is looking to appoint a Senior Planning Lawyer to join its Edinburgh real estate team. The role focuses on planning and land use work across commercial and development matters, providing advice to developers, landowners and public-sector clients.

The successful candidate will handle a mix of transactional and advisory work including planning applications, consents, s.75/obligations and related documentation, and will work closely with colleagues across the wider real estate practice. This is an opportunity to join a busy team with varied, high-quality instructions.

• Qualified solicitor/advocate in Scotland with demonstrable planning/land use experience.
• Several years' post-qualification experience in planning, development and consents work.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills; experience preparing planning conditions, agreements and related documents.
• Client-facing, commercially aware and able to work collaboratively across a team.
