Senior Solicitor — Professional Indemnity

Senior solicitor opportunity within a well-regarded specialist insurance team. The role sits on a largely contentious professional indemnity caseload, defending claims against construction professionals, architects and solicitors, and involving insurance coverage and reinsurance matters.

The team handles complex, high-value litigation and offers a supportive, mentoring environment with opportunities for case ownership, client contact and business development. The role is open across multiple UK offices with a hybrid working pattern.

• 5+ years PQE (or equivalent) in professional indemnity or related insurance litigation
• Established experience defending claims against construction professionals, architects and/or solicitors
• Strong knowledge of insurance policy coverage, reserving, claims handling and insurer/insured relationships
• Proven ability to manage a personal caseload, meet deadlines and supervise junior fee-earners
• Excellent legal analysis, drafting, communication and client-facing skills
