Join a leading international law firm's flexible legal-resourcing team as a senior technology lawyer based in Sydney. This role sits in a market-facing team that supplies high-quality, project-based legal support to corporate and in-house clients on technology, telecommunications and digital contracts.

The role is well suited to an experienced IT specialist seeking consulting or flexible/fractional work. You will work on large technology procurements, outsourcing and cloud/SaaS arrangements and provide commercially focused advice on privacy, data security, IP and related contractual issues.

Minimum 6 years' post-qualification experience in technology law
Strong background in technology transactions, large IT contracts, procurement/tenders and vendor negotiations
Experience with SaaS, infrastructure/cloud agreements and related data-security/privacy issues
Commercial judgement and ability to manage complex negotiations with multiple vendors
Able to work autonomously, prioritise and hit the ground running in a flexible/consulting setup
Right to live and work in Australia and hold (or be able to obtain) a current practising certificate; willingness to engage via an incorporated legal practice or casual employment
