Solicitor / Associate - Professional & Financial Lines, Manchester

We are seeking a Solicitor/Associate to join a national insurance disputes team, focusing on defence work within professional and financial lines. The role involves managing a caseload, acting as a point of contact for insurer clients and supporting senior lawyers on larger matters.

The post-holder will work closely with colleagues across the Northern office and with teams nationally and internationally, contributing to client service, technical delivery and the growth of the practice.

• Qualified UK Solicitor/Associate
• Experience handling Professional and Financial Lines matters; professional indemnity experience highly desirable
• Proven client-handling and relationship skills
• Ability to manage a caseload with appropriate supervision and to support senior fee-earners
• Good numeracy and interest in financial aspects of insurance matters
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
