Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer/Experienced Paralegal – Complex Injury

Join a leading national team specialising in catastrophic and complex injury claims, working alongside experts on some of the most severe and high-value cases in the UK.

You will support senior fee earners and partners on multi-million-pound claims, covering traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, and fatal accident cases. The team acts for a mix of leading insurers and corporate clients, providing strategic advice from the outset of investigations through to litigation.

• Assist senior fee earners and partners on complex, high-value and multi-million-pound claims
• Develop and implement clear case strategies, balancing commercial interests with client needs
• Ensure effective case management, including adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and internal protocols
• Meet financial targets, and manage billing, WIP, and disbursements promptly
• Provide accurate MI and stay current with technical expertise and case law
• Manage risk and compliance issues, escalating emerging problems as appropriate
• Build strong client relationships and act as an ambassador for the firm
• Support business development and client relationship activities
• Maintain technical knowledge through training and professional reading

We are looking for qualified lawyers (Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives) or experienced paralegals with experience in personal injury, employers/public liability, or catastrophic and complex injury claims, or a strong interest in this area.

• Previous experience in personal injury or complex injury work, or a genuine interest in this field
• Strong personal compliance with firm protocols and procedures
• Good legal knowledge relevant to the area
• A commercial approach to legal issues
• Confident negotiation skills
• Team-oriented and collegiate, willing to share knowledge and support colleagues
• Excellent relationship and client handling skills
