An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join a national Motor Injury team. The role involves handling a varied caseload of motor injury claims spanning pre-litigation work, MOJ portal matters, infant approvals, OIC claims and small track cases through to conclusion.

The team takes a progressive approach and is known for going beyond straightforward claims handling — tracking and analysing behaviours and trends to give insurer clients bespoke strategies and help shape market behaviour.

You will run files proactively and effectively against agreed SLAs and deadlines, managing confidential information in line with data security protocols while maintaining and developing your technical knowledge through training and relevant publications.

Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with the ability to conduct litigation
Demonstrable experience handling a caseload including personal injury, credit hire or similar case types
Strong personal compliance with client SLAs, protocols and KPIs
IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel and Word
Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills, with the ability to identify priority tasks and know when to seek help
Analytical skills — able to critically assess factual evidence and spot what is out of the ordinary
Commercial sense — able to apply the law pragmatically and judge when a point is worth pursuing
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team and communicate with clients by phone
Resilience in telephone negotiations, with the ability to receive feedback and manage competing demands
Positive, approachable role model with an aptitude for learning and retaining new skills
Good oral and written communication skills
