Solicitor, Commercial Litigation (Sydney)

A Sydney-based solicitor role within a leading disputes practice, focused on general commercial litigation with an emphasis on regulatory and tax disputes, complex strategic litigation and investigations. You will support local, national and international clients across sectors including banking, insurance, energy, resources, technology, pharma and private equity.

The role offers day-to-day file responsibility, significant client exposure and collaboration with senior disputes lawyers across offices. Expect a mix of written advocacy, court work, regulatory response and project-based business development activities, with structured on-the-job learning and mentoring.

• 2–4 years PQE as a qualified solicitor in commercial litigation (private practice or in-house).
• Excellent academic record and strong legal research, drafting and advocacy skills.
• Practical, proactive approach with ability to manage files and work to tight timeframes both collaboratively and independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collegial team player.
• Curiosity about legal tech and AI; appetite to contribute to business development and client relationships.
