An opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join a leading Band 1 Real Estate team based in Melbourne. Working closely with industry-leading partners and a cohesive group of talented professionals, you will advise national and international clients across a diverse range of real estate matters.

The role spans property development and infrastructure projects, transaction structuring, acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, commercial and retail leasing, structured investments, joint ventures and high-value commercial and industrial leasing. Clients include major local and overseas property developers, corporates, institutional investors and real estate funds, with exposure to some of the most significant real estate and infrastructure deals in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

The team supports clients across a wide range of asset classes, including data centres and digital infrastructure, living sectors, healthcare, industrial and logistics, agriculture and forestry, commercial and office, as well as urban regeneration projects. There is genuine opportunity for growth, high levels of client exposure and the chance to build a strong network while working collaboratively with partners and lawyers across the network.

2–4 years of post-admission experience.
Admission as a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand.
Experience across a range of real estate matters, including development, capital transactions, investment and joint ventures.
Excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
Proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of a leading and supportive team.
Ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated collegiality within a team.
Hunger to learn and develop, and to be part of maintaining a market-leading practice.
Innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
