A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Senior Associate to join its award-winning, Band 1 Corporate M&A team in Melbourne. This is an opportunity to work on some of Australia's most high-profile public and private transactions, collaborating closely with senior partners and a national corporate practice.

The role involves advising on all aspects of corporate transactions, including public and private M&A, takeovers of listed companies, disposals, private equity investments, venture capital, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements. You will draft and negotiate key transaction documents, advise on legal risk, manage client relationships, and work across teams to deliver integrated service.

Admission to practice as a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand
3–7 years' experience in a leading corporate M&A practice
Excellent academic record and high attention to detail
Proactive, collaborative approach and ability to work to tight timeframes

Curiosity about clients and emerging technologies, including AI
