An established alternative service delivery division of a leading Canadian law firm is expanding its Ottawa team and seeking dedicated staff lawyers to join on a full-time basis. This model is designed to serve clients in innovative and efficient ways, working alongside partners and associates to deliver excellent service.

The work typically includes document review, due diligence, commercial contract review, NDA review and legislative updates. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with partners and associates across the firm to support client matters.

Staff lawyers are initially engaged on a contract basis, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.

Called to the Bar of Ontario and licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada
Prior document review and/or due diligence experience an asset, but not required
Corporate commercial law experience an asset
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Bilingual proficiency in English and French an asset
Undergraduate and law school transcripts required with application
