An established law firm is seeking a tax associate to join its tax practice with a focus on fund formation. The role involves representing fund sponsors and investors, with an emphasis on venture and private equity funds.

The associate will advise on investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures. Candidates should be motivated, proactive, and skilled at managing several concurrent matters while maintaining strong client relationships.

2–5 years of tax experience representing fund sponsors and investors
Preferably focused on venture funds and private equity funds
Experience advising on investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures
High level of motivation, initiative, and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong client relations skills and experience handling several concurrent ongoing matters
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
