Tax Associate (2nd–6th Year)

An established law firm is seeking an associate to join its tax practice. The role offers the opportunity to advise on a range of sophisticated transactional tax matters across several offices.

Ideal candidates will bring 2–6 years of tax experience, including work on some combination of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and international transactions. The position involves handling multiple concurrent matters, so strong client-relations skills, initiative, and excellent problem-solving abilities are essential.

This is a multi-office opportunity, with flexibility to be based in one of several U.S. locations. Compensation and benefits are competitive, with a full range of elective and firm-paid offerings.

• 2–6 years of tax experience
• Experience advising on some combination of M&A, capital markets, and/or international transactions
• Strong client-relations skills and experience managing several concurrent matters
• High level of motivation, initiative, and problem-solving ability
• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
• LLM preferred but not required
