An established tax practice is seeking an associate to focus on fund formation. The role involves representing fund sponsors and investors, with a preference for experience in venture and private equity funds, investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years of tax experience, strong academic credentials, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent matters while maintaining excellent client relations. Candidates may be based in Chicago, New York, or Palo Alto.

2–5 years of tax experience
Experience representing fund sponsors and investors, preferably focused on venture funds and private equity funds
Advising on investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures
High level of motivation, initiative, and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong client relations skills and experience handling several concurrent ongoing matters
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
