Apply in confidence →Growing litigation team seeks a tax controversy associate to join multiple U.S. offices. The role focuses on tax controversy and litigation, handling audits, appeals, and Tax Court matters across a variety of clients.
The team prefers candidates with 3–5 years' relevant experience and a strong background in tax litigation or government tax practice. This position will involve managing multiple matters, drafting pleadings and briefs, and working directly with senior litigators and clients.
- J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation required
- 3–5 years' relevant tax controversy/tax litigation experience (audits, appeals, Tax Court)
- Prior Tax Court clerkship, IRS counsel, or DOJ tax-division/branch experience required
- Licensed to practice in the state of the hiring office
- Strong legal research and writing skills; ability to manage multiple matters independently
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
