Entry-Level Tax Associate — New York

An established law firm is seeking a highly qualified entry-level associate to join its Tax practice in New York. The role sits within a Tax group that works closely alongside the firm's corporate practice, advising clients on a broad range of transactional tax matters.

The practice handles work including corporate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; partnerships, LLCs and other joint ventures; private equity transactions and fund formation; real estate transactions, real estate fund formation and real estate investment trusts; venture capital transactions and fund formation; and financing and capital markets transactions.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively in teams, take on increasing responsibility for components of transactions, and develop the ability to manage assignments independently.

• J.D. or LLM, graduating in 2026 or 2027
• Demonstrated interest in tax law and transactional practice
• Coursework, internships, clerkships or other experience involving tax, corporate or transactional matters preferred but not required
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills
• Strong team orientation and ability to assume increasing responsibility
