Tax Partner — Long Island (Garden City)

Senior tax partner role to lead and grow a tax practice out of the Garden City office of a major national/international firm. The role focuses on advising closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals on federal and state tax planning, transactional tax matters, and controversy work.

The partner will manage client relationships, originate new business, collaborate with other practice groups and offices, and supervise a team of tax attorneys and staff. This is a visible role with firm-wide teaming opportunities and responsibility for local office leadership.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Significant partner-level tax experience (closely held businesses, transactional tax, and controversy)
• Strong client development record and ability to originate new engagements
• Experience managing and mentoring senior associates and staff
