The search runs on a fixed calendar. Week 1 is the Mandate Blueprint: reporting line, the regulators the seat answers to, program scope, pay and conflicts. Weeks 1-2 map the whole New York field from our research programme, which rests on 1,675 structured interviews in the city. Weeks 2-4 are private outreach, blind both ways until interest is mutual. The shortlist with assessment dossiers lands in weeks 3-4; client interviews and the offer run to week 9, then closing, notice and 90-day check-ins.
Each dossier answers the Department of Justice questions: which examinations the candidate sat as the accountable officer, what changed afterwards, and what resources they won from a board. The chair of the audit committee at a Euronext-listed insurer in Brussels described the brief we hear most: "We asked for a CCO who had sat across a regulator, not a policy author." A general counsel at a NASDAQ-listed medtech in Boston told us: "The shortlist arrived in just over three weeks and every name could already sit with our board."
Across Sartori & Partners corporate mandates since 2017, 96% of offers made were accepted and 4% were declined, and 8% of retained mandates did not complete. No CV leaves us without the candidate's written consent.
