International practice group seeks an associate to join the antitrust, competition and trade team in Vienna. The role involves advising national and multinational clients across EU and Austrian competition law, working on merger control, abuse/antitrust investigations, state aid queries and competition-related contract reviews.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across European and global offices on both advisory and forensic matters, support regulatory filings and investigations, and contribute to compliance counselling for clients across sectors.

The team offers structured learning and international secondment and training opportunities, exposure to high‑profile cross‑border matters, and regular client-facing work.

Law degree with above‑average results
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
Strong interest in EU and Austrian antitrust, competition and trade law
Analytical, client‑oriented and able to work in multi‑jurisdictional teams; international experience, an LL.M. or relevant internships are advantageous
