Leading international law firm seeks associates with a strong interest in regulatory public law and foreign direct investment (FDI) to join its Vienna team. The role involves advising national and international clients across product regulation, energy, healthcare, mobility and other sector-specific regulatory regimes.

Work will include advising on FDI screening and investment-control filings under Austrian law, coordinating multi-jurisdictional filings, supporting regulatory aspects of transactions, preparing submissions and litigation support in administrative proceedings, and monitoring Austrian and EU legislative developments.

The team offers early responsibility, direct client exposure on high-profile matters, and close collaboration with colleagues across the firm’s global network.

Completed Austrian legal studies with above-average results
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and interest in regulatory, policy and geopolitical developments
Practical experience or demonstrated interest in public/regulatory law and FDI (LL.M., dissertation, internships or prior firm experience advantageous)
