A growing US litigation team seeks a California-admitted associate to join its Los Angeles office. The role offers early client contact and substantive responsibility on a mixed docket of insurance coverage, defense work and commercial litigation.

You will work closely with senior litigation lawyers on all phases of cases — drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, taking depositions and supporting trial and motion strategy — while managing a defined portion of files and communicating with clients to meet service standards.

Admitted to the California Bar with 2–3 years' post-admission US law firm litigation experience
Solid pre-litigation and litigation skills: drafting, legal research, discovery, motion practice and depositions
Ability to analyze complex factual/legal issues and provide commercially minded advice
Confident, professional client-facing communication and composure under pressure
Collaborative team player with strong academic background
Writing sample required as part of the application
Preferred: insurance coverage/defense experience, civil litigation firm background, and trial exposure
