The role involves handling disputes and advisory work arising from public and private construction and infrastructure projects, with exposure to multi‑party matters and insolvency/default scenarios.
Day‑to‑day work includes acting for owners, contractors, subcontractors and sureties, drafting and negotiating procurement and construction contracts, and advising on liens, trust claims and breach of contract issues. The position offers significant client-facing responsibility and structured career development within a busy team.
- 4–6 years post‑qualification experience in construction and infrastructure law, with a focus on disputes
- Experience acting for owners, contractors, subcontractors or sureties on construction matters
- Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills; excellent oral and written communication
- Team player who can manage multiple files and work collaboratively across practice areas
