Top-tier corporate practice team in Chicago is seeking an associate to support public company representation and corporate governance matters. The role focuses on counseling boards and senior management, preparing SEC and exchange filings, and advising on disclosure and compliance issues.

The team handles a broad range of matters for public companies, including proxy statement and earnings release preparation, Form 10-K/10-Q/8-K filings, and stock-exchange compliance. Work is collaborative across capital markets, M&A, finance, executive compensation, employment, and ESG specialists.

This opening is aimed at early‑to‑mid level associates who want frequent client-facing exposure and to build deep experience in securities and governance work within a high‑volume public company practice.

Minimum of 2 years' PQE in capital markets, securities, or public company representation.
Experience drafting or reviewing SEC filings, proxy statements, or related disclosure documents.
Strong knowledge of US securities laws and stock exchange listing requirements.
Excellent drafting, communication, and client-counseling skills; ability to work collaboratively across practices.
JD from an accredited law school and admitted or eligible for admission in the relevant US jurisdiction.
