A market-leading Hong Kong dispute resolution practice is looking for a Hong Kong-qualified litigation associate to join a Tier 1 / Band 1 team handling complex, high-stakes commercial disputes. The team is a first port of call for corporates, listed companies, investment banks, funds, high-net-worth individuals and families with significant litigious problems, and works across sectors and jurisdictions.

The role offers a broad diet of cross-border litigation and arbitration, advising clients ranging from multinational corporations and major financial institutions to governments, ultra-high-net-worth individuals and emerging technology companies. You will work closely with partners on all stages of court proceedings, providing robust, strategic advice tailored to clients' commercial objectives.

You will be part of a fully integrated global disputes network, with exposure to an international client base and support for personal and professional development. The firm encourages the use of AI and legal technology to improve efficiency and ways of working.

3–6 years' post-qualification experience within a disputes practice
Hong Kong qualified lawyer
Strong technical excellence and experience managing a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters from an international private practice environment
Ability to provide and tailor robust, strategic legal advice on contentious matters
Experience working with partners on complex, high-stakes litigation at all stages of court proceedings
Excellent academic record, strong legal skills and legal project management expertise
Excellent client manner and a track record of building strong relationships with colleagues and clients
Proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of a leading, supportive team
Interest in leveraging AI and legal technology to improve efficiency
Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin
