A fee-earning Employment Associate role in the Birmingham office of a leading international law firm. The team is expanding and offers early responsibility on varied, high-quality employment matters across commercial, not-for-profit and public-sector clients.

Day-to-day work includes advising on strategic employment issues, drafting contracts and HR policies, managing tribunal claims, supporting transactional employment work and contributing to thought leadership and client events. The role sits in a collaborative, cross-office practice with structured training and clear progression pathways.

Qualified solicitor with 1 1 - 5 years PQE in employment law
Experience of employment tribunal work and/or advisory work for commercial or public-sector clients
Strong drafting skills (contracts, policies, procedures) and attention to technical detail
Excellent communication, commercial awareness and ability to manage competing priorities
Motivated team player with an interest in business development and client relationship building
