Senior associate role within a global energy and resources team based in Brisbane. The team advises on the full spectrum of energy matters, including traditional oil & gas, mining, electricity, renewable energy and energy-transition projects, acting on commercial agreements, project development, regulatory matters and cross-border mandates.

The role offers regular exposure to high-value, cross-jurisdictional work for corporate and project clients across the energy sector, and the opportunity to work collaboratively with specialists across offices. The team values technical drafting, commercial judgement and active contribution to a collegial culture.

Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in energy-related practice (energy projects, renewables, oil & gas or related transactional/regulatory work).
Experience gained at a well-regarded law firm handling commercial, project or M&A matters in the energy sector.
Strong drafting and technical skills, sound commercial judgement and ability to manage client relationships.
Demonstrated willingness to mentor more junior lawyers and contribute to team culture.
