Associate, Insurance — Birmingham

Senior insurance litigator role within a Property, Energy & Construction team handling a varied caseload of property damage, construction and energy-related insurance disputes. The role focuses on coverage advice, defence of third-party property damage claims and subrogated recoveries for insurer and reinsurer clients.

The team works on high-value, international and complex matters across an integrated global network. The position is hybrid and will involve collaborating with specialist colleagues on multi-jurisdictional claims, including business interruption, political violence and large-scale property losses.

• Qualified solicitor with 3+ years' post-qualification experience in insurance litigation
• Experience of market coverage work and subrogation/property damage recoveries
• Proactive, commercially aware and able to manage a busy caseload
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisation and research skills
• High attention to detail
