Join a national sports liability team within a broader complex injury practice, handling a mix of insurer and sporting-sector instructions. The role covers the full lifecycle of sports-related liability matters, from incident investigation and pre-emptive advice to claims handling and litigation strategy.

You will run your own caseload of injury and general liability files, set and execute case strategies, and work closely with insurers, insureds and brokers to achieve commercially sound outcomes. The role includes client-facing responsibility, risk management and contribution to business development activity.

Proven experience on personal injury, employer/public liability or catastrophic/complex injury claims (sports-related experience advantageous)
Ability to manage a self-sufficient caseload and meet deadlines
Skilled at devising and executing clear case strategies that balance legal and commercial considerations
Experience mentoring and supervising junior fee-earners
Strong client-handling and negotiation skills; comfortable acting as client-facing ambassador
Track record of adhering to SLAs, KPIs and firm protocols, with timely billing and WIP management
Sound technical knowledge of relevant case law and effective risk/compliance awareness
Willingness to contribute to business development and maintain technical knowledge
