Associate — Intellectual Property & Technology Transactions, New York

Top-tier New York office seeks an associate to join a busy Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions group focused on life sciences. The role centers on negotiating and documenting collaborations, licensing arrangements and technology-transfer matters for life-sciences clients.

You'll work on cross-functional, high-value transactions alongside senior lawyers in a collaborative team environment. The team handles complex deal structures and frequently interfaces with commercial, regulatory and scientific stakeholders.

Expected base salary range: $260,000 $435,000 (as listed).

• 3-8 years post-qualification experience in life sciences licensing / technology transactions
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating licensing, collaboration and technology-transfer agreements
• Strong academic credentials and a J.D.; active bar membership required
• Excellent commercial judgment, written drafting skills and ability to work collaboratively with commercial and scientific teams
