An international law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level transactional associate to join its Life Sciences Licensing and Commercial Transactions practice. The role is based in the Northern Virginia office and is open across multiple offices.

The successful candidate will focus on licensing, collaboration agreements, and commercial transactions, with a preference for those experienced in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare sectors. The firm is willing to train the right candidate.

This position offers a competitive base salary of $260,000 to $390,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses, along with medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off. Relocation benefits may also be available.

3–6 years of transactional legal experience
Substantial experience in licensing, collaboration agreements, and commercial transactions preferred
Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries preferred
Outstanding writing and analytical skills
Top academic credentials and a commitment to excellence
Virginia Bar membership
Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and U.S. bar membership
