Associate, Large Loss – Insurance, Manchester

Senior associate role within a national insurance litigation team handling high-value, multi-track large-loss matters. The team defends complex personal injury claims arising from road traffic collisions, covering liability, quantum and rehabilitation issues.

The post-holder will work on serious and catastrophic injury cases alongside experienced litigators, providing day-to-day case management, drafting pleadings, advising on liability and quantum, and supporting trial preparation on multi-party and fatal injury matters. The role is hybrid.

• Minimum c.3 years' post-qualification experience in personal injury/insurance defence litigation.
• Experience working on large or complex injury claims in a team environment.
• Comfortable with client contact and working for insurer clients or brokers.
• Strong advocacy, drafting and case-management skills; ability to work to tight deadlines on high-value matters.
