A highly regarded law firm is seeking a 4th–5th year associate to join its Litigation practice group in the Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and exceptional research, analytical, oral advocacy, and writing skills.

The associate will handle and manage all aspects of litigation, including fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial proceedings, trial, settlement, and related matters, as well as develop and maintain strong business and client relationships.

Significant experience across all phases of discovery is required, including preparing witnesses for depositions, drafting complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements, and managing the filing and service of pleadings. The ability to work effectively under pressure, deliver high-quality work product, and manage junior attorneys to meet deadlines is essential.

4–5 years of litigation experience
Strong academic credentials, including a bachelor’s degree and J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
Member of the California State Bar in good standing
Exceptional research, analytical, oral advocacy, and writing skills
Experience managing all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation
Ability to work under pressure and manage junior attorneys
