Associate — Mergers & Acquisitions (Shareholder Activism) — New York

We are seeking a mid-level associate to join a busy M&A team in New York focused on shareholder activism defense and related corporate governance matters. The role involves advising public companies on takeover-defense strategies, proxy contests, and complex securities issues.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers on high‑stakes matters, take on significant responsibility on live matters, and help develop client relationships within the shareholder activism practice.

• 4–7 years post‑qualification experience in public company M&A and corporate governance
• Demonstrated experience with securities law and Delaware corporate law
• Proven track record advising public companies on shareholder activism and takeover defense
• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
