Private Companies Associate (3rd–6th Year)

An elite national corporate practice is seeking a 3rd–6th year associate to join its private companies team, advising disruptive, venture-backed companies and the investors that fund them. The team counsels early-stage and growth-stage companies through their full growth lifecycle.

The role centers on general corporate matters, venture capital financings, corporate governance, and liquidity events, with exposure to some of the most prominent high-growth companies and their investors. This is a chance to join a growing national team with a strong entrepreneurial client base.

Candidates should bring extensive experience with early-stage and growth-stage companies from a national or international law firm corporate department, along with strong academic credentials.

• 3–6 years of corporate associate experience, including at least three years focused on early-stage and growth-stage companies
• Deep experience advising venture-backed companies on general corporate matters through their growth cycle
• Hands-on experience with venture capital financings and liquidity events
• Prior experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
• High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
