Join a busy real estate dispute resolution team in Birmingham handling a broad range of commercial and residential property disputes. Work will include portfolio and development-related disputes, landlord & tenant matters, property contracts, rights of way, adverse possession and restrictive covenant issues.

The role involves conducting litigation and tribunal work, participating in mediations and settlement negotiations, and collaborating closely with national projects, construction and real estate colleagues. There is scope over time to work on higher-value residential and group-action matters for investors.

The team expects active engagement in client relationship management, business development initiatives, mentoring junior fee-earners and maintaining file compliance with firm procedures.

1-4 years' post-qualification experience in property dispute work
Proven experience in commercial landlord & tenant and other real estate litigation
Excellent technical drafting and advocacy skills; comfortable in court and tribunal proceedings
Strong client focus, commercial awareness and ability to prioritise caseloads to deadlines
Team player with experience delegating and developing junior fee-earners; strong academic background
