Global law firm seeks a junior to mid-level real estate associate to join its U.S. Real Estate team. The role is open to candidates for the New York and Chicago offices and involves advising on a broad range of real estate matters across multiple asset classes.

Work will involve drafting and negotiating transactional documentation, conducting and coordinating due diligence, and supporting cross-practice matters including finance, M&A and funds work. The team handles domestic and international transactions for investors, owners, developers, lenders and institutions.

Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification real estate experience in a large law firm
JD (or foreign equivalent); admission to the applicable U.S. state bar
Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures and real estate finance; familiarity with commercial, multi-family, industrial, mixed-use, data center and hospitality asset classes
Proven due diligence experience (lease, title, survey review) and strong drafting skills
Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and ability to handle multiple high‑pressure matters
Team player with a client-service focus, sound judgment and a proactive approach
