Associate — Restructuring & Insolvency

Experienced restructuring associate role on a global financial restructuring and insolvency team. The team advises debtors, creditors and other stakeholders on complex Chapter 11 and cross-border insolvency matters, including out-of-court restructurings, Chapter 15 work and creditor negotiations.

The position offers exposure to high-profile, sophisticated restructurings: drafting pleadings and disclosure statements, supporting confirmation hearings, negotiating DIP financings and cash-collateral matters, and coordinating cross-border strategy with overseas counsel. The role suits an organized, proactive attorney who enjoys collaborative team work and developing deeper expertise in bankruptcy and distressed transactions.

• 2–4 years post-qualification experience in bankruptcy/restructuring or related commercial litigation
• Strong drafting and research skills with experience on Chapter 11 and related proceedings
• Familiarity with DIP financing, cash-collateral issues, claims processes and plan of reorganization work
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, liaise with financial advisors and overseas counsel, and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders
• Excellent academic credentials, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to learning and mentoring junior lawyers
