Insolvency Associate — Bankruptcy (multiple U.S. offices)

We are seeking an Insolvency/Bankruptcy associate to join a national practice with openings in Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston or Phoenix. The role focuses on creditors' rights, commercial bankruptcy, restructurings and related litigation, with frequent in-person hearings, trial appearances and travel.

The team works closely with a Financial Services & Capital Markets group and handles workouts, receiverships, judicial and equitable foreclosures, pre- and post-judgment collections, and other insolvency matters. The hiring group values proactive, entrepreneurial candidates able to manage competing deadlines and articulate litigation and restructure strategies.

• Minimum of 4 years' bankruptcy/insolvency experience preferred
• Experience in creditors' rights, commercial bankruptcy, workouts, receiverships, foreclosures and restructurings
• Strong litigation experience preferred (pre-judgment relief, trial and collections)
• Admitted or willing to obtain bar admission for the state of the chosen office
• Demonstrated strong academic record, sound judgment, teamwork and client-facing skills
• Ability to travel for hearings and trials as required
