Associate / Senior Associate - Banking & Finance, Sydney

Leading Australian law practice is seeking a banking & finance associate or senior associate to join its Sydney team. The role involves advising on commercial lending transactions, document drafting and negotiation, and providing practical commercial advice to corporate and financial institution clients.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team that handles a mix of domestic and cross‑border mandates and will have regular client‑facing responsibility and opportunities to develop technically and commercially.

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Australia (or eligible for admission)
• Demonstrable banking & finance transactional experience
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on loan documentation and security arrangements
• Commercial mindset and ability to manage client relationships and work effectively in teams
