Associate / Senior Associate, Energy & Natural Resources, Brisbane

A well-regarded national law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Energy & Natural Resources team in Brisbane. The role sits on a busy practice advising on energy projects and natural resources matters across transactional, regulatory and commercial dimensions.

The team works on project development, commercial contracts, regulatory approvals and due diligence for clients across the energy sector. The successful lawyer will join a collaborative group handling a mix of complex, market-facing matters and policy/regulatory work.

• Admitted lawyer in Australia with several years' experience in energy, resources or related commercial law.
• Demonstrable experience on project or transactional work (contracts, due diligence, regulatory approvals).
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, commercial judgment and the ability to manage matters with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills and the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders.
