Associate, Tax — New York

Seeking associates (class years 2019–2022) to join a leading firm's tax group in New York. The role involves substantive tax work across transactional and advisory matters, with exposure to M&A, capital markets, fund formation and real estate-related tax issues.

The team emphasizes high-quality technical research and writing, client-facing interaction, and public-speaking opportunities at national tax forums. Successful candidates will work closely with colleagues in a collaborative, office-focused environment.

• Law school class years 2019–2022
• Strong technical tax research and writing skills
• Experience on strategic/private equity M&A, capital markets (including spin-offs/IPO work), investment fund formation, and/or real estate tax matters
• Excellent oral communication, analytical ability, and top academic credentials
• Enthusiasm for client interaction, public speaking, and in‑office collaboration
