Bad Faith & Insurance Coverage Attorney — Insurance, Costa Mesa

Established national law firm is seeking an experienced insurance-coverage attorney to join its Costa Mesa office within the Insurance Coverage practice. The role focuses on analyzing policy language, preparing coverage opinions, and defending insurers in complex coverage matters.

Day-to-day work includes drafting coverage opinions, handling declaratory-relief and related litigation in state and federal courts, participating in mediations and arbitrations, and collaborating with cross-office teams. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

• 8–15 years of insurance-coverage experience, including first-party property and general liability matters
• Litigation experience: taking depositions, attending hearings, drafting and arguing motions
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Admission to the California Bar required
• Experience with reinsurance matters or demonstrated interest in insurance law preferred
