A leading global law firm seeks a resource attorney to support its market-leading Capital Markets practice group in San Diego. This is a non-client-facing, non-billable role focused on knowledge management, business development, and practice innovation for one of the most active capital markets teams in the US, with a strong SPAC/deSPAC and public-company practice serving technology and life sciences issuers and investment banks.

The resource attorney will track legal and regulatory developments affecting the practice, develop client alerts, white papers, and external-facing resources, and build and maintain internal know-how, forms, and templates. The role also involves coordinating speaking engagements, webinars, and CLE programming, preparing marketing materials and RFP responses, and partnering with knowledge, professional development, and innovation teams to assess and adopt new technologies that drive efficiency across the group.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced capital markets attorney who wants to leverage deep practice knowledge and work across a practice group without client billing obligations.

Licensed attorney with 5+ years of experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions
Strong understanding of corporate governance, SEC reporting requirements, and related matters
Mastery of capital markets substantive practice, with enthusiasm to learn as the law and technology evolve
Familiarity with the technology and life sciences industries
Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills; confident presenter
Self-starter with strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
Collaborative team player with strong judgment, interpersonal, and technical skills
