A large law firm is seeking an experienced civil litigator to join its Litigation Business Unit as a Career Associate. The position is open across the firm's U.S. offices, and fully remote arrangements may also be considered.

The Career Associate program offers accomplished lawyers an alternative to the traditional partner track while still providing deeply substantive and sophisticated legal work. Lawyers join at many career stages, from recent graduates to more senior practitioners from a range of settings. It is well suited to those who are passionate about practicing law and delivering excellent client service but prefer a lower annual time commitment.

The firm emphasizes collegiality, mentorship, and integration into client teams, and provides strong training and professional development resources.

7+ years of experience in complex civil litigation
Strong legal research skills
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents
Discovery management, including e-discovery
Case and project management experience
Deposition and trial preparation experience
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
Strong academic credentials and a writing sample required
