A central knowledge-management lawyer role supporting the firm’s transactional global practice groups and practice-area teams. You will lead KM strategy for multiple transactional groups, create and maintain precedent libraries and templates, improve collaboration-site design and searchability, and drive firm-wide KM best practices to increase efficiency and consistency across transactional work.

The role combines strategy, process design and hands-on content work: coordinating with KM partners and practice leaders to track KM goals, automating standard documents, developing workflow and legal project-management improvements, producing training and thought leadership, and evaluating KM technologies to streamline research and document creation.

Juris Doctor (ABA-accredited law school)
Approximately 4 years’ transactional experience in a large law firm environment
Admission to practice in Illinois, in good standing
Experience with KM systems and collaboration platforms; prior experience with Foundation or similar tools preferred
Strong organizational, communication, analytical and project-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and preserve confidentiality
