A full-service AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an attorney to join its Civil Litigation Practice in its San Diego office. The role involves all phases of defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.

The firm's national civil litigation group includes over 600 attorneys who represent defendants in significant exposure cases, including property and personal injury claims for businesses and individuals. The practice has particular strength in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation, and its attorneys include seasoned trial lawyers with broad courtroom experience.

The firm values both experienced defense litigators and talented attorneys from other litigation backgrounds who bring strong skills and a collaborative approach. This is an opportunity to join a growing team handling substantial and challenging matters.

At least 1 to 15 years of experience in all phases of defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Admission to the California Bar is required
Strong research and writing skills
Preference for some defense experience, but attorneys with substantive litigation experience in any arena are encouraged to apply
